Starting Monday, June 2nd, the Franklin Line will have an adjusted weekend schedule with certain trains bypassing Fairmount through Newmarket & making stops at Back Bay & Ruggles due to the Fairmount Line temporary construction schedule.
The temporary schedule is available online on MBTA.com.
Service on the Fairmount Line will be reduced between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends to allow this important work to take place. Passengers can consider nearby MBTA buses for alternative service.
The following trains are temporarily suspended to accommodate rail replacement work:
Weekend Trains suspended: 6614, 6619, 6624, 6630, 6632, 6633, 6643, 6644, 6647, 6649, 6650, 6655, 6656, 6659, 6662, 6666, 6667, 6668, 6671, 6677, 6678
On Friday, July 4th (Independence Day) and Monday, September 1st (Labor Day), all lines will operate on a weekend schedule.
On Thursday, June 19th (Juneteenth), and Monday, October 13th (Columbus Day), all lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
