On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June, there will be a change to Metrolink services across the network due to events taking place. Changes include Altrincham services operating to Exchange Square, Eccles services operating to Cornbrook and Manchester Airport services operating to Deansgate-Castlefield. In addition, the following lines will operate on a 15-minute frequency with additional double trams: Eccles via Media City, Manchester Airport, Trafford Park, Rochdale Town Centre. At peak times on Saturday (9am – 6.30pm), the frequency of services between East Didsbury - Shaw & Crompton/Altrincham - Exchange Square will change to every 7.5 minutes. On Sunday (5pm - 11pm), the frequency of services between Altrincham and Exchange Square will change to every 7.5 minutes. Trams between Etihad Campus - Piccadilly and Ashton-under-Lyne - Piccadilly will operate every 12 minutes, and trams on the Bury line will operate every 6 minutes.
