I'm having a connection issue

I'm online but the Citymapper app isn't

Keeping a good connection between stations and tall buildings is tricky in the city. Try quitting the app and restarting, this solves most issues. If you still have problems, write to us so we can take a look.

My GPS location is inaccurate

First, check that your wifi is switched on, as many devices use this to improve their GPS accuracy. If this doesn't work, restarting the app may help. Let us know if things still look wrong.

The watch app isn't syncing with my phone

This should not happen but sometimes it could take longer to load data for a specific city (such as live times) on the watch. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If you still have issues, please reach out to us.

I pressed GO, how do I STOP?

While in GO mode, tap the  in the top-right on the screen.

If you're not in GO mode:

  • on iPhone, return to the homescreen and tap on the blue 'On Trip' bar
  • on Android, return to the homescreen and tap on the blue 'On Trip' card

Still stuck? Try quitting and restarting the app.

The app is using geolocation in the background
